Synchronized Chaos

In what’s likely my final fireflies photo from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this image depicts around two hours of firefly activity at Jake’s Creek.

Interestingly enough, I had a camera about 50 yards downstream the next night and that camera barely picked up any activity, showing how selective fireflies are with their habitat choices.
