Wyoming Skies

As I drove through the lonesome back roads of rural Wyoming, the sky darkened and hail started pelting my windshield. I was a little nervous but a little excited as I neared the eye of the storm.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed an interesting old train, sitting on forgotten tracks. I loved the moody sky behind the train and began clicking away. I subconsciously hoped that lightning would strike but knew that’d be incredibly unlikely.

As the rain grew heavier, I headed back to the car, happy with my stormy shots. It wasn’t until I reviewed the photos in my driver’s seat that I noticed I caught a lightning strike!
